Portsmouth defender Tal Ben Haim joins West Ham on loan until January.

Good for West Ham, not very good for Pompey. Would of thought they'd sell

not good for west ham good for portsmouth, apparently this shocking defender is on 40k a week.

He was good at Bolton, then he made a move to Chelsea which he'll know was a mistake.

False. Don't believe everything you read in the papers mate, he wouldn't be on 40k a week because last season when we were signing players we were only being allowed to offer around 25k a week because finances were tight. Although, he's not worth that tbh. Gutted to lose him though on a loan deal, would much rather we sold him for 2-3 million. :(

was just saying what i heard from a mate max so its proberly wrong, agree with you though would have been better if you could have sold him. he isen't premiership standard anymore.

Ah fair enough pal. Nah he's past it, too many mistakes although was solid when he was paired with Kaboul. He needed a top defender with him though when he was here, as soon as Kaboul left it became clear Ben Haim was the weaker of the two by a mile as even Wilson was looking better than him. That's another player we'll sadly lose (Wilson), turning into a cracking little player now aswell.

agreed, hasent wilson scored a few goals in pre-season?

Never really rated him, don't think he will help West Ham from conceding goals but only time will tell.

Think he scored once or twice in our USA tour which we won somehow ^^) Alot of youngsters played in that, a 17 year old even scored the winning penalty in a shoot out to win the competition, youth is looking impressive so far.

But yeah, he scored the winner vs Fulham the other day aswell where we won 1-0 in Linvoy Primus' testimonial.
