Hi,

I am playing with Benfica and I will start the 3rd season.I am using 4-2-3-1 formation with 2 central midfielders and 2 wingers.

my line up is

ochoa
rafael-sidnei-david luiz-renan
javi garcia-ramires
giuliano-aimar-di maria
cardozo

I am trying to play a wide fluid attacking game with 2 wingers crossing and cardozo as target man but the team is lacking goals in some matches. should I use my wingers as inside forward to be more efficient at scoring? Should I buy a scorer amc instead of playmaker aimar or play 2 strikers?
which team instructions and player roles do you recommend?
 
you should use the thread LGFire gave but since you've opened this one if you want to play a wide fluid game use these team settings:
fluid
attacking (though obviously change when the situation requires it)
more freedom
zonal marking
more closing down
more roaming
shorter passing

if you want to play 4-2-3-1, i would set guiliano to inside forward attack, but di maria to winger support, with aimar advanced playmaker/attack. aimar and guiliano will provide a goal threat, while di maria is pure support. the fullback on guiliano's side should be set to wingback/auto, and the cm that side should have a defend role to cover (i'd also make the centreback on that side have a cover role
 
Since you are playing as a strong side I'd reccommend playing attacking and fluid with aggressive tackling.

I think you play your AMR as Inside forward but play Di Maria as Winger - Attack as he is suited to this role.

As for Aimar, maybe try him as Attacking Midfielder - Attack first as he may chip in with a few goals.
And set Cardozo as Complete forward as for me he scored alot of goals in this role.
 
agree with irish scouse, cardozo definitely complete forward.
 
Ok I have 4 players in the front line

Guiliano - inside forward - attack
di maria - winger -attack

these 2 i decided about their roles

do you reccomend

oscar cordozo - complete forward support
aimar - advanced playmaker attack

or

cardozo complete forward attack
aimar advanced playmaker support ?
