From what I've heard Barry was the player Rafa wanted and Keane was wanted by Parry.

Yeah have heard that alot Lee, I think it seems to be the case that Benitez would have much preferred the money go on Barry.

So as Zeb says, a more polite way of saying I didn't want him and wasn't prepared to give him a good run, cos when he played he didn't justify his price tag.
