Hello everyone. Firstly i want to say that i had the same struggle with most of you with 16.2 patch and tried most of different tactics to be successful. I dont say that other tactics are rubbish but for instance; tff tactics are not fit for me because of the formation and some good tactics with good formations don't do well as tff's. So i tried to balance with some little modifications and can not say that this tactic is completely mine. I analyzed lots of tactics and tried to combine the things that work best for me. I've won Turkish league twice and the last season was completely mad, i guaranteed it in the 26th week. Then focused on CL, but i want to confess that the reason the tactic works is the special man marking. Your Back should man mark opponent wingers, your wingers should man mark opponent backs and your centrebacks should mark the opponent strikers. If your opponent has only a 1 striker, mark him with your best defender and set your midfielders to mark opposite players. If you dont get it i can show with pictures but anyway, feel free to try and let me know about the results.

dont u get caught out alot with two BBM's and attacking full backs?

It would be better to have a target man if you have 2 wingers and support since they will look to cross the ball a lot. Also 2 bbms is very unusual.

it is unusual but it works, and as you can see shane long and mario gomez done well with the role but if you want you can change as you like it
