What is the best way to approach team selection?
Rotation or sticking with the same line up often?
Thnx in advance

Depends on who you have.

Try and keep the same backbone of the team (GK, CB's, CM's, ST) and then rotate from there. Try and have younger players on the bench and play them in the last 20 minutes or so. :)

I pick entirely on Condition and Morale. Should they be insignificant, ability/ form then comes into it. I tend to build fairly large young squads and rotate heavily. Going to try to stop that in 11 but in 10 on average I'd have 3 strikers, a star getting 20 games, the backup getting about 12 and then an u20 getting 5/6 games (obviously injuries change stuff), I have a mental block about players under 90% condition

I rotate buddy. Im man utd and in midfield i have nani, willian, valencia, giggs to fit on the wings and defour, carrick, scholes, fletcher, anderson and some french kid to fit in the middle. They all stay happy with the rotation i find.

Many factors come into my team selection-

Condition is a main factor. Tired players, won't last the match, they won't get into my starting 11. Its about resting them, in prep. for the next match.

Form- If your winning matches, and condition is fine, then why change something that isn't broken?

When things aren't going well- Rotation- Try different players and fresh ideas in the team, until you find the right team/tactic to get you winning matches.

I think the use of younger players is also vital, some younger players do feature in my first 11 on a regular basis (Ryan Leonard, Yala Bolasie, Joe Mason) and thats all fine, with a mix of some expierence. Obviously don't overload your team with Youth players!

Hope this helps 8-|
