Hey guys, I dont normally post on forums but thought I would as my first 2 seasons with villa went great
Season 1: finished 7th in the league an won capital one cup
Season2: finished 3rd in the prem and won capital cup again and europa
In season one I played a 4-5-1 mainly and in the prem I was W16 D9 L13 57pts 7th. I bought in Whelan on loan, Grobkreutz loan, bouba diop on a free.
Guzan (sweeper keeper)
Herd (RB) Clarke (CB cover) Vlaar (CB Stopper) Warnock (LB) All on defend duty.
Gardner (CM) Diop (BWM) Bannan (CM) All on Support.
Agbonlahor (AMR) N Zogbia (AML) Both Attack
Inside Forward Inside Forward
Bent (STR)
Poacher
Subs I used were Baker,Gardner,Holman,Ireland,El ahmadi,weiman and benteke.
Played short passing game, pressing more and Attacking football
Instructions at the start of the game were:
Get the ball forward
Pas to keep
Work ball into the box
Drop Deeper
Hasstle opponents.
Season 2 was exactly the same except for transfers.
Out were: Ireland, Holman, N zogbia, Al ahmadi, Warnock, and alot of the reserves
In were: Adam Johnson, Gelson Fernandes, Glen whelan, Grobkreutz, Muntari, Djamel Mesbah, Andy Carroll, and Jem Karacan.
Just started on season 3 won 7 out of 12 in prem but not so good in the champions league as I drew Barcelona and Shaktar hehe, ofcourse I overachieved finishing 3rd but the tactics used have never let me down. I have used them since FM 11 hpe they help.
