Best position for Fabian Delph??

Hey all, if someone could tell me where they think Fabian Delph plays best, that would be great! I am using him in a 4231 MC role, I can't decide whether to play him as a box-to-box, mc att, or a form of playmaker....his stats are all good, but nothing really stands out yet and I want to make sure I play him in the correct position for his develpment!!

Not sure about his role but on FM09 I trained him as a left winger and he turned out pretty well, played better than in centre mid

I normally play him as CM advanced playmaker. Scores quite a few goals from distance.
