best role for pastore?

i am just about to get pastore so i was wonndering what role he plays best at as an AMC?

Pastore is equal to or better than those two, closely contested with Ganso. If he wants the best advanced playmaker, he should buy Pastore.

But he is really just not good, his got great stats but he does his on thing on the pitch, he might be enjoyable to watch but he just didnt have no end product for me

He's got a good teamwork stat, a good creativity stat and a good decisions stat. He's also a really good passer, so I don't see why he delivers no end product for you.

Pastore needs to play in the CM position with a free role and no defensive duties. Have him run with ball often, and also run from deep. Ideally you want to partner him with a creative yet more defensive minded player.

Same here, poor work rate just makes him blast the ball into the stands constantly. He gets the occasional screamer but just ruins play alot especially as he gets the AMC position so I atleast espect a goal here and there.

Good to see im not the only oe Paulo and Alan got end products and there both icons in my game file at Man Utd

Where as Pastore the "best AMC" got sold after 2 years after doing nothing but run with the ball great decision making stats my *** they dont mean **** if you dont follow your brain

Advanced Playmaker - Attack in CM position is how I play him and he's been amazing for me over 7 or so seasons..

Give him a free role and high creative freedom and he's a beast.

I did something completely different...

Retrained him as an ST, and played him as a Trequartista. Scored 52 goals and got 30-something assists. He really is a clinical finisher.

Out of curiosity, how can you afford to pay him that much as West Brom.. Impressive statistics though.
