Im currently using CF (ATT) and Treq (ATT) its good but it could be better, what would you suggest i change? and what is your best partnership?

Deep-lying forward (Support) and Complete Forward (Attack)

Defensive forward on defend duty and Shadow striker to put pressure both on CD's and DM's....helps my defence greatly, and they don't complicate things in attack. The Def, for can serve both as poach and as target man, as he should have both pace and strength...

Seems Treq and Advanced forward also works well but welcome to the club. struggling to find the best partnership myself where both can score loads. tried a lot. will try yours to see. any specific player instructions? or you leave both to do their own thing. I had a save with Manutd. Rooney acxording to my staff is a false nine yet finds it difficult scoring when played on that role. I know false nines are not your typical hoal scoreers but creators rather but his form was awful. never did seem to score enough. less than 10 goals a seasom for 3 yrs n I gave up on him. lol

what would people recommend for Sturridge and Suarez? can't get them both firing so playing Suarez AMR as a AP... playing well and assisting but not scoring as much as I would like!

in my opinion if you want your strikers to score the combination is Poacher-Advanced Forward or Target Man-Advanced Forward. If you are playing with only 1 striker then AF.

I will try your suggestion but what player instructions do you recommend for a poacher - advanced forward combo. as well as a target man- advanced forward combo. thanks

Advanced Forward (Att) - Complete Forward (Support)

Rooney 30 goals 26 Assists - Van Persie 35 goals 21 Assists

Best partnership ive had on fm14 so far (This was done first season)

Run wide with ball, dribble more, move into channels, roam from position for the AF, and move into channels for the poacher/targetman. This would need a more direct, wingplay style of play to prevent the strikers from being isolated, usually with two wingers, or with one creative wide midfielder on the AF's side.

I agree with zAhHH. The AF/TM should have a more direct pass approach to take advantage of the Poacher or Wingers/IF. So i also tick the Hold Ball.
The Poacher should have Move into channels and Close down less in order to always be at the edge of offside. This is how i play them.

with the target man - poacher role, do you have the target man on support or attack duty and of course do you have your wingers aim cross at target man? and what player instructions? only move into channels? cos that means both target man and poacher will be moving into channels.
