hi everyone!

so im werder bremen and im facing man utd in the CL. i did well and beat them 1-0 at home and now i have got to go to old trafford and finish the job...i have relatively an average squad...with half of them either injured or inelegible(cup tied)....im in my 2nd season and i will love nothing than to progress to the next round(QF) so if anyone has done this before in regards to the size of the team and situation....i will appreciate every tip.

thanks in advance!!!(H)

JP Woody Brian Clough Derby Tactics. I'm Nottingham Forest they beat me 3-2 when I used this tactic however this was with alot weaker team compared to Bremen and you'll have a good chance of a win and most probably a draw. Which sufficient to go through.

Well, i don't see no point in changing your formation all the time, they have to get used to playing it.

i wish that was the case mate but u cant play the same formation against every team...not when you are an average side anyway...you don't expect to beat a team like united/barcelona/arsenal the lot playing all out attack...you will be battered...so im in the believe of having 2 formations along with 2 different tactics really.

1.an all out attack formation with an ultra attacking tactics.(for home games against lesser sides)

(a) an all out attack formation with standard attacking tactics (for home matches against equally good sides and away matches against lesser sides)

2. a defensive formation with a standard attack tactics (for home matches against better sides and away against similar sides to you)

(a)a defensive formation with an ultra defensive tactics (for away matches against greater sides)

N.B... my assessment is for like i said lesser sides or average sides with average players like mine. U obviously wouldn't need this if you manage teams like united, barcelona and the sort. But still sensible thing to do. I hate to loose so i take my time.

I was using 4 -2 - 4 defensive at old trafford getting results , until i built an uber team and go there and whip them now.
