Best team instructions defensively?

Hi,with my Schalke team i'm often beaten my mid table teams away from home.I play narrower,hassle opponents,use tighter marking,and push higher up.Do you guys know the key to having a good defense tactially? I'm always tweaking tactics in game and have beaten the likes of Bayern away from home but struggle away to Wolfsburg,HSV etc,tips?

Well, its not a good idea to play narrow when using a high defensive line. You need to exploit the maximum space in your opponents' half. So, you have to play wide and exploit the flanks. This is how much I can gather from the above post. Please post your tactic's screenie.
