Best way to remove players in FM12 editor?

Hi,

I'm using the FM12 editor to create a database simulating the upcoming 12-13 season (just for myself). I've so far done all the completed transfers from clubs, but what is the best way to remove players from clubs where they've been released on free transfers, without having to manually edit the wage budget? Simply pressing "remove" on the players list works, but it doesn't adjust the wage budget correctly (e.g. releasing a player with £40,000 a week wages only reduces the wage outcome by ~£7,000)

I suppose you should calculuate the total amount of wage for the players that have been released, then add that on to the wage budget? I don't do this but that's a logical way of doing things
