If you start to struggle to find space as the oppositions sits deeper and play more cautious against, then you have to use the space that is available. If the they play narrow and compact, then you have to use the width and perhaps drop your d-line. Don't rush the attacks in terms of players making too many runs from deep too early in the attacks. Instead, try to draw the opposition onto you, up in the field, out wide to stretch their team, making them loose their defensive position.
In short
- Play wider
- Drop deeper if you are pushed up
- perhaps use overlaps
- restrict early t-balls
- restrict early runs from deep
- Dont use quick counter attacks
Please use the stickies next time
Cheers
