Bidding War Confusion

This is partly a moan but also a question as to why this occurs and if anyone else has these sorts of problems.

1st - Why do i get terrible offers for my best players im talking like half their value, Do these clubs really think that you are going to sell your top goalscorer for half his value when he has a long term contract? Is it suppose to unsettle the player? It doesnt seem to have worked for any of them so far.

2nd - Why does there not seem to be bidding wars for players - Such as 6 clubs offer ?4Million for a player but none will go higher, Logically one of them would bid even a 100k more to win the race for the player?

I think both of these need to be sorted, especially the second. The main advantage of when a player has interest from many clubs is surely that because many clubs are fighting over him you can get a better deal? Would definitely love to see both of those addressed in FM15.

I find accepting one bid, rejecting the rest than set his asking price higher sometimes encourages one or two of the rejected teams to come back at the higher value

Yeah, this works so well for me, I've made a lot of money using this. I also reject offers from rich clubs and accept from financially worse off ones as then your most likely to get a higher offer.

What I do is negotiate different for different clubs
E.g. If I'm willing to let a player go for 20m
First club to bid-try get to 20m
2nd club- try get more(23-25)
3rd club- even more (26-28) etc.
Then when all bids are sorted I go through again and reject all of them except for the highest negotiation that was accepted by the other club
