Personal record was in FM 11 I sold a fullback for 86 mil euro, his release clause (bought him for 3.6 mil some years back when he was a youngster).

In FM 14 I managed to sell a couple of players for 80 mil euro straight.

For big money I always sell them (except if I am already super rich after years and years... then, rarely, I keep a few close hearted players :P)

Hm.. Flat out 80 Million $ bid on Nani, 70 Million $ bid on Vitinho. Now, it's coming nearby those prices for Lukaku

in fm13 I had this amazing regen , who won the ballon d'or 3 times in a row .. I was offering him to clubs to see how much I could get , Man City came up with a 120m offer (cant remmember how much upfront and how much in monthly installments) obviously i didnt sell him but I was pretty amazed with that offer

Wow 80 million on Nani? in which season? I sold Vitinho too but for 40 million $..

I never get massive bids Evan on amazing players, teams bid maybe 5mill more than their value, fecking cheapskates

Wow those are some nice bids, the highest bid I received was in fm 12, which was ?62 million for sterling.

I remember selling viera on championship manager 01/02 to inter Milan for ?92.5 mil. Couldn't turn that down! Haven't had that fortune on fm14 yet tho :(

As soon as you make something idiot-proof, they make a better idiot.

Highest offer for a average player on FM 2014 was 30 Million from Chelsea for Jefferson Farfan. Needless to say I sold him immediately. 1st transfer window for Schalke. Haven't had any higher bids that I can remember at least, once a player's value gets high enough 40M/50M they don't even seem to bother.

Chelsea were pestering me for Angel Correa and bid about 40m I think so to put them off I set his asking price 100m and days later they come back with an offer of 91m needless to say I sold him then :)

2nd season. I just gave him a few games upon his return from injury at the start.. and presto. 80 Million. For Vitinho, I'd gotten him on a free the previous season. And he was monstrous for me. So PSG put up a 70 Million $ bid, and I accepted because they weren't my league rivals. Managed to get Januzaj on the left as his replacement.

I sold Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for ?60 to PSG on FM14 and now I completely regret it, as I'm desperate for a AMR and just cant find one

Why? Depending on the year, there should be quite a number of options. Either literal AMR, or just buy a right footed AMC with good winging stats and retraining him. Or a left footed AMC, if you want an IF. And regens are another option too..

Sold both Ox and Walcott for insane sums, had enough to import an entire new Arsenal with high pot regens. Think it was 64M for both players. Now they are benchwarmers for Chelsea and ManU. Sure, they are nice players to have. But nowhere near as good as the young regens I bought who are now grown up and all worth 10 times as much.

most i've ever had was about $75 million; Always set it to monthly installments which really helped me in the long run.

I believe the highest I sold a player for was €55M, Facundo Ferreyra who I'd bought for 19 with clauses (25% profit or something), so the profit wasn't all that.
Musacchio at €40M was by best, only paid him €1M :D

OK this thread is a little weird because everyone is talking in their own currencies. I'm English so I used GBP naturally, but it seems odd to me some of the figures quoted here. I'm in the year 2026 or something on my save and I have noticed that the max bid (straight transfer fee) I'll receive for a player is 43 million, looks like that's hard coded, as I generally can't haggle with them or they just walkaway. In installments the max I tend to get now is 45 million, just can't get higher than that. I did get 53 million in installments for a player about 6 or 7 seasons back.
Looks like there is certainly some hard coding going on here because it's annoying how many times the same team keeps coming back with the same 43 million pound bid, despite me rejecting it over and over again.

i was on my 2nd season on fm 12 and man u bid 250mil (us dollars) for mario gotze

Second season Newcastle, sold Cisse for 37 million (10 million up front, 25 million over 24 months, 2.1 million after 20 league goals) to Chelsea after he scored 35 league goals as I won the title first season. Used that money + 3 million to buy Suarez from a relegated Liverpool.
