Birmingham city chairman David Gold has today announced the shock arrival of unknown manager Ian Hall as there new manager after alex mcLeish left due to health concerns

Ian had this to say at his first press conferance "i'm very happy Mr. Gold has given me this opportunity to manage this great football club and i have set myself the target of european football in the next 3 years and a mid table finish this year" when asked if he would be dipping into the transfer market he told us "every player and member off staff shall have the chance to show me wat they can do in the next few weeks but the board have given me money to spend so if there is any player or staff member that can strengthen the team i wil be sure to look at them"

updates soon

Alot of b'ham stories popping up, probably because of the league form. Good luck anyways.

Ian Hall has today annouced that he has lost out in the signing off nigerian goalkeeper vincent enyeama to real madrid but positive around st andrews is the signing of 23 year old polish international Jakub Blaszczykowski on a £4.2 million deal from german side dortmand on a 4 year deal. ian said of the deal i'm very excited to sign a player of jakubs talent and at 23 with 21 caps for his country. he is a very good signing for birmingham and the premier league as a whole" when asked if he was in talks about bringing brazillian legend ronaldo to the premier legue he said "talks with ronaldo and his agents are at an advanced stage and i fully expect him to sign in the next few days"

lol, did you post in the wrong section? cos this looks like a story instead of tactics XD

anyway, birmingham's not an easy side (at least not for me) to manage. good luck ^^)

August

sunderland 3 (de silva (9), kewell (28,46) - birmingham 0

a hard game to start the league season wih and it didn't help that kewell and kevin thomson were on fire i was dissapointed with ronaldo he never really got going overall sunderland were the better team and the result was fair man united at home next we need to play much better than we did today if we are to get anything against the champions

birmingham 2 (ronaldo (17,68) - manchester united 3 ( rooney (2,45), nani (80)

what a game we took the champs to the wire and ronaldo played fantasic i fought we were going to get a point till nani burst the net with a cracking goal wolves at home next hopfully we can pick up our first points off the season

birmingham 1 (mcFadden (pen90) , carsley sent off 47) - wolves 0

going down to ten men so soon after the break was always going to be hard but we defended very good and got the penalty right at the end that mcFadden slotted home to give use our first win and points of the season benitez also made his first start for the club coming on as a sub for ronaldo. peterborough away in the league cup next

perterborough 1 (mcLean (22) - birmingham 1 (hasebe (38) birmingham win 5-3 on pens

shocked that it took penaltys to win this game but it wouldn't have got that far if joe hart hadn't saved mcLean's penalty in the 82nd miniute bolton away in the league next will be hard but hopefully we can come away with something we have also drew manchester united in the 3rd round of the league cup at home

bolton 0 - birmingham 0

a dull 0-0 game is never enjoyable but this is a very good point that could be very valuable at the end of the season

end of month review

i'm quite happy how this month has turned out it started off bad at sunderland but picked up with a decent performance against united we are currently sitting in 11th place after 4 games and in the next round of the league cup witch i think is decent

sorry i've not updated been at work all day will try and do some tomorrow

september

birmingam 2 (benitez) (17 90+2) - tottenham 2 (crouch) (37) , (keane) (47)

i went into this game thinking we could get a point and at the end of the game i fought we could have got the three points as we were the better team but a point against a strong spurs side is always good and benitez stood in well for the injured ronaldo. Blackburn away next

blackburn 0 - birmingham 1 (ferguson) (pen 85)

this could be a vital three points come may blackburn were unlucky as they a had a goal chopped off in injury time. Manchester united at home in the league cup next

birmingham 0 - manchester united 1 (carrick) (pen 71)

unlucky to lose this match mcFadden had a goal chopped off that shouldn't have been and that could have changed the out come off the match. fulham away next in the league

fulham 1 (dempsey) (12) - birmingham 1 (ronaldo) (74)

another good point the overall performance of the team was poor but we held on for the draw when fulham were pressing at the end to make it 5 games without defeat in the league

End of month review

5 points out of 9 is good against stronger teams. joe hart has been the best player this month and we were very unluncky to go out off the league cup. with only 3 games next month i hope to take 6 points

The team looks to be playing well in a good position aswell good to see us in more form!! :D

October

birmingham 0 - stoke 0

a game i expected to win i feel as though its 2 points lost and we really need to start scoring. Everton at home next

birmingham 0 - everton 3 (osman) (3, 21) , (baines) (83)

terrible result everton played us off the park we need to do something as we just can't seem to score. Hull away next

hull 2 (hesselink) (67), (davidson) (78) - birmingham (mcFadden) (37), (ferguson) (45+2)

well we got the goals but the defence let use down big time we should have won this game

end of month review

this has been a bad month i fully expected to beat hull and stoke but could only manage drews hopefully we can improve next month

Oh no we've got Everton tomorrow please don't tempt fate!

November

Birmingham 0 - Manchester City 3 [rodriguez] (2), [tevez] (60), [robinho] (74)

never expected to take anything from this game i was happy with the first half performance but city were to strong for use in the 2nd half ronaldo is also out for 3 weeks. Aston villa away next

Aston Villa 2 [agbonlahor] (61, 85) - Birmingham 0

a hard game when we can't seem to buy a win we outplayed villa then they scored and we fell to pieces we really need to start performing starting next against wigan

Birmingham 2 [ronaldo] (3), [benitez] (88), (queudrue sent off 28) - Wigan 1 [pena] (40) (melchiot sent off 74)

finally a win we left it late but got the win in the end wigan were all over us after we went down to 10 men but fell apart when melchiot got his maching orders. league leaders Arsenal away next

Arsenal 3 [ramsey] (4), [van persie] (23), [rosicky] (32) - Birmingham 0

the scoreline flatters arsenal it was an even match except they were more clinical in front of goal

End of month review

a hard month were we only got one win and 3 defeats but the defeats were against some of the toughest teams in the country. next month we have got 7 games that include liverpool, chelsea and manchester united but i hope to take at least 6 points out of the 7 games
