I've got a save from when I was managing in Italy and over about 5 years I've yet to see a single black Italian, not even in other teams youth systems. I occassionaly see a black frenchman or Briton, even Portuguese. Over two seperate Italian saves (one corrupted) totaling 11 years I've never seen one.

Has anyone else noticed this. What are you thoughts? I have my own but I'll save them for the moment.

edit: Btw I meant regens

Probably because there aren't many black Italians.

or Italians are racist? but yeh probably what Lee said to be honest.

are there any black italians in real life?

ballotelli was born in africa i believe so he doesnt count

According to wikipedia 0.36% of the Italian population is black, although that is rather less than the 1.8% of the UK population that are black, so perhaps that goes someway to explaining it.

Found this on the internet.

Balotelli was born in Italy but his parents weren't which is why a lot of Italian fans don't accept him as one of their own.

When I was in Italy, I didn't notice many black people. The ones I did were in port cities (genoa) and I don't know if they were citizens or just there for work. But I figured I would have seen at least 1.

France get some, but that's understandable due to their African connections. But how does FM model Germany having so many Turkish citizens?

fabio santacroce from napoli, but he's also elligable for brazil, so doesnt really count i guess

I've never seen a black Italian, it's like seeing a black Scotsman.. It's wrong!
