BLACK SCREEN WITH VISIBLE CURSOR!!!

My game crash dumped and when I kept going back to previous save, it would crash at the same point as last time so I deleted the Preferences file in AppData and loaded up the game, when it got past loading screen it went black but I see my cursor. Nothing was selectable with it though. I have tried holding and pressing ALT+SHIFT+F10 but it just doesn't work.

This happened a while back and it turned out to be a different combination of keys but I've forgotten.

Please help!

Also, after it goes blank, I can go off the game by pressing the window icon, but after I press ALT+SHIFT+F10 I can't leave the black screen.

The is a couple of threads on this, just have a quikc search of pages one and two. You would probably need to verify the files through steam again.

Thank you for the response. Yeah, I'll do that but I'll most likely get the ALT+SHIFT+F10 advice which isn't working for me.

If youve got no custom graphics loaded then, i'd verify files through steam.
