BLACKPOOL (There will normally be a picture but my laptop is ******** up)

After failing to pick up the team after the Ian Holloway era, Blackpool have sacked latest manager Lee Clark and are rumoured to be ready to appoint unknown, inexperienced manager Aidan Dickson

Blackpool have unveiled new manager Dickson in a press conference and when asked what he expected from his first season he replied "Despite most of the footballing world predicting us as favourites for relegation I can see us pushing way beyond our expectations and try to fight for Promotion".

COME ON YOU TANGERINES!!!

The team and Money

After assessing my squad and reviewing my squad I realised I would have very little funds to improve quite a weak squad. Although there are some OK players, there is a lot to improve on. I am going to need to exploit the free transfers and loan market in order to even attempt to consider a push for promotion.

PRE-SEASON AND TRANSFERS

Due to a lack of funds we have had a somewhat quite pre-season transfer wise with 2 players in and 2 out and that is probably how it will stay this way.

In our friendlies we did alright playing 5 winning 4 lost 1. I was disappointed to lose to Leyton Orient but sometimes that's how it goes

PRE-SEASON STATS

Top goalscorer: Delfouneso 4
Top assister: Merida and Grant 2
Top Performer: Grant 7.70

AUGUST:

Overall we had a poor start and end to august but all the games in-between ended well. We manage to pick up 9 points from 5 games, We twice advanced in the cup but we will now face Manchester United in the 3rd Round.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH:

Nathan Delofouneso- He led the line well and won us some vital points.
