Blackpool Contract Situation - Any tips?

Just started a save with Blackpool, and EVERY player except for 1 has they're contract set to expire in 12 months time. How should I handle this? Has anyone else been through this?

I'm pretty sure it's just the system Blackpool use for their contracts. Not much you can do apart from tying them down to new contracts with a longer length. Or edit it in the editor.

Manually renew the most important players i.e Ince, Grandin, Tiago Gomes, Cathcart, Phillips, Taylor Fletcher etc Ferguson is great first year but 34 and probably won't get into the side next year as he deteriorates quickly. Set all other first team contract renewals to be dealt with either by your director of football (If you have one - I have Cantona at Blackpool) or by the chairman himself - they should all then be renewed and you won't have to fiddle about.
