Match versus Ellesmere; 1-1 HARRIS'24
This is one game we had all wrapped up untill we got complacent in the second half and let them rob one in injury time. I think we need to play a lot better if we want promotion this year! Still it was a decent game considering it's our first competitive game together as a unit. I won't be suprised if we don't win this league.
August 19th 2009 (h)
Match versus Goodrich; 0-0
This one was literally a bore-draw, we can't seem to find a finisher, I'll be on the look-out for one ASAP. Another draw, two points from a possible six, the only good thing to bring from this is our left back is playing remarkably well and the few new guys we've got a playing pretty solid, c'mon boys!
August 22nd 2009 (a)
Match versus Shawbury Utd; 0-0
Another bore-draw and it begins to annoy the manager Mr. Craythorne, they are now looking for a Central Forward who will give them something else. It is said that Mr. Craythorne has managed to sign Stanislav Janky who is well known for his finishing, hopefully Janky can start netting some goals!
August 29th 2009 (h)
Match versus Dudley Town; 3-2 MASSEY'17 FITTER'28P'79
Finally, the first three points of the season and three goals after waiting two games without one. We went two - nothing up in the first half until they're striker turned it on and got two back in the second half but right back Fitter popped up to score YET another goal to make it three - two! Massey had a classey performance.
July, August Summary.
I think this month was okay, we completely changed all our players round and we picked up 6 points out of a possible 12, which isn't good but now we've blended together, I can suck us getting even better and perhaps winning this league after the season ends. We currently sit 8th in the West Midlands League Premier Division. Alright first month.

September 2nd 2009 (a)
Match versus Heath Town; 0-1
Another victory, two in a row now and a good way to start the month off, an own goal from Hume gave the victory to us and hopefully we can push on now and win some more matches and try and get to the top of the league.

FA Vase Cup 1st Qualifying Round; Strong Favourites.
Match versus Rayners Lane; 4-1 FINCH'27'73 ABBOT'53 LONSDALE'65
It was a complete annihilation of Rayners Lane. This was where my 'auto-save' had brought me back to and we finished this team off in style in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase. Will Finch was on good form, central midfielder Abott was in good form also Lonsdale hot the back of the net too, Will Finch wrapped the match up on 73, hitting the back of the net for the second time!
September 12th 2009 (a)
Match versus Tividale; 4-1 LONSDALE'80
This match was almost never in doubt. Tividale win with a commanding three goal margin however, the scoreline doesn't even begin to tell the story. Bloxwich could have got a MUCH better result if striker Webster was not on devastating form as he buried a hat-trick and left Bloxwich sinking without a trace. Even the game journalists realised we were better than that! Lonsdale was good in this match.
September 16th 2009 (a)
Match versus Wolves Casuals; 0-0
A bore draw following the defeat at Tividale, however at least Bloxwich held up at the back and didn't let people straight through. Mesure started this game after signing from Sutton Utd but it doesn't seem any of the strikers there could hit the back of the net on this day, hopefully we can move forward and one of the strikers can find some REAL form!
September 19th 2009 (h)
FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round.
Match versus Holker OB; 1-1 LONSDALE'68
Luckily yet again Lonsdale hits the back of the net to put them on level terms against Holker, however unfortunately this will mean they have to have a reply away from Old Red Lion Homeground, I could really do with getting through that way I could earn a bit of money! They scored first through a penalty in the first half.

FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round Reply.
Match versus Holker OB;3-2 LONSDALE'7'45'105+1
An unstoppable performance by Club captain Richard Lonsdale, scoring a triumphant hat-trick to send them through to the first round of the FA Vase. After a torrid time up front, the captain is leading by example, scoring 6 already in September! Fitter was injured in this match and so was Lonsdale's over-shadowed strike partner, Mesure. We march on into the next round where we have Reading Town which should be interesting..

KEY MATCH -- Bloxwich Face The Impossible?
Match versus Gornal;2-1 JANKY'4
In fairness, if they hadn't have got that stupid penalty in the third minute and Janky would have still scored our goal, I think we would have won. I can't believe we've lost this. Our team is TWICE as good as theirs with better players with higher morality. I can't believe we allowed them to get into our heads. Poor.
September Summary
Overall, this month was an topsy turvey month, we got thrashed by Tividale and lost to Gornal, we thrashed Rayners Lane 4 - 0. We knocked out Holker of the FA Vase and we defeated Heath Town and drawn with Wolves Casuals. This was an alright month, we know currently sit 12th with 10 points from 8 games but still they are over-achieving, we are currently 11 points off the pace as Tividale are dominating the league winning 7 games, out of 7.

FA Vase 1st Round; 50-1 Odds.
Match versus Reading Town;2-1 FINCH'3 LONSDALE'55
A storming victory and a performance to match, the 'impossible' because possible as we see a complete turn-a-round from the match against Gornal, Finch was outstandng and didn't put a foot wrong, he put Reading Town's defence to the sword and the early goal really helped, Lonsdale nicked another one as well which proved to be the winner and they got one back late in the second half, Bloxwich march on in the FA Vase!
October 10th 2009 (a)
"Must Win Game!"
Match versus Dudley Sports;0-0
We did manage to hit the back of the net, Lonsdale netting but unfortunately the referee blew up for offside and disallowed it but it is a good result and hopefully we can build from here.
