why?

gallas and mourinho hated each other i think , gallas wasnt played that much - hes 4 years older than cole, gallas was always out of position , 5m isnt much in this market , chelsea needed a left back and they have one of the best in the world and hes english

and gallas is 29 and cole is 25

i think chelsea got the good deal here tbh

Chelsea got the better side of the deal yes, but there's speculation that Mourinho wasn't happy that Gallas left for some reason.. :| But 5m and Gallas for Cole is a deal and a half tbh.
