Board accepting offers

I was just about to start my 3rd brighton season after winning league 1 then finishing 10th in the championship. In the 1st season i loaned Gael Kakuta and for some reason midway through the season his value dropped to 300k. So i signed him and he is one of my best players now but wolves made an offer of 3.2 million ( which isnt even that great and i could have got more as he is now worth like 1.8 mill) The chairman accepted it for me and i was gutted. So i played a freindly and played Kakuta and he picked up an injury which would keep him out for 6 weeks and thus he failed the medical for Wolves and stayed at Brighton

Has the board ever accepted offers for your key players when you didn't want them to leave

Makes you want to chuck the game out the window.
You got lucky though with Kakuta.

Yeahh Sean St Ledger was sold by the board and he was my key defender! also happened to other thing si cant remember but very annoyin when it happens... i think you shoudl be able to interact with chairman better say:
sell and im leaving! haha

ye happens sometimes with me but i just have a high minimum release clause on my top players so they rarely do it anymore

Yeah its awful when you're a smaller club building up a decent team and then your board sell all your best players, it has happened on umpteen occaisions with Notts, have never had what happened to you with Kakuta failing a medical, you got lucky

Happened to me at Man Utd, I rejected loads of bids for Anderson then Sevilla offered 14 mill and the board accepted.

I've never had the board sell any of my players.

If you want to stop it you can use FMRTE to lower your chairman's "interference" attribute. Some might consider it cheating though.

Also if your chairman accepts a bid you can still offer your player a new contract if you are desperate to keep them. Make it a really good offer and your player may take it and stay with you.

Had it happen to me i had a regen come through at solihull moors in league 1 and aston villa bought him for just over one millon and then a couple years later he was an england regular and worth 20 million.
