Board Takeovers

Let's face it, it was only a matter of time before one of these threads popped up.

But anyway, my question is, if a club goes through a board takeover early in the game, is it possible another takeover could happen in a few years after?

I ask because the team I want to manage for FM11 has the manager status as "will listen to offers". They are also a lower league team so I plan on raising their value and reputation. I would hate to get a mediocre board takeover in the first season, then go for glory only to be held back by the new board. So is it likely another takeover could happen in 4-5 years time?

i had a takeover with Liverpool in october , and they gave me 65 mil to spend on players

I also had a takeover with Liverpool.
They gave me 18 million to spend

On my Liverpool save i was takenover after 2 months, didnt get any money to spend but they cleared the debts and invested in training and youth facilites. Im guessing theyd up my transfer budget in December though because this is what normally happens to me in FM2010.

I've had 2 take overs with tranmere on my FM10 save. The first guy gave me around 90k ( we was in league 1, bottom table side) next board came in on second season in the championship,he gave me £3million to spend, Its a big jump up. Then 4 seasons after i left tranmere,there were taken over again. They must be rich now as they buy players for like 4million.

It depends. In my liverpool game I've had a total of 4 takeovers with each time the director taking over the chairman. If your lucky you might get a millionaire. But don't fear if the first takeover is **** as there is always another chance of it happening again!!

Thanks guys, I was worried that another takeover wouldn't happen so soon after a first one.
