Board wont let me release staff

Well in my Sevilla save i replaced almost all the dead wood at the beginning of the season. The *** manager has got some crappy stats and i wanted to replace him. But the board blocked his departure because he had joined recently. I have had this problem before. I waited for about an season. But now after 1 season the board still wont allow me to mutually terminate his contract. Any ideas on how much time will it take for the board to accept?

when you terminate staff contracts, you will pay them off in one lump some the rest of their weekly wages. now if your *** manager had recently signed a new 5 yr deal, they would have to fork out a lot of cash upfront for this and a lot of the time they will decline the termination...

what does work sometimes is mutual termination, but the same point goes as above!

if he has say 4 yrs left on his current contract, offer him a new one for 1 or 2 years which will cost you less when you release him and wil shorten the period...
