Yeah, but many managers have tried, and failed. I think his temperament isn't good, but other than that, If Big Sam can change that, he will be a good acquisition for the club.

Glad Bolton have finally splashed some cash, Chairman gave them 10m for a striker and they got Anelka so not bad tbh, Big Sam is the man to get the best out of him if anyone. Hope it works out.
