Olá everyone, I am a newcomer to this forum. I am starting a video story with one of the teams that I support and hope I can get a few followers. Any suggestions on players are greatly appreciated and please comment or like the video or even better subscribe to my channel!

Very good start mate really love video stories and hope you can do regular updates

Thank you guys, I've played a couple of more months but I need to sort out my shakey microphone before I can produce the next two parts. I'll attempt to make the updates as regular as I possibly can.

Writing bits? Do you mean articles on this forum? I was thinking of doing a little spotlight on who I have identified as my most important players before I release the second video, if that is what you mean?

I enjoy following stories so feel free to advertise yours here and I'll give it a look... Also just one more thing, if you have a youtube account and have the time please do comment or alternatively leave a rating as this helps much!

Ok mate KIU my story is Duckett's Global road trip if ya dont mind commenting plz mate :)

Will check it out pal, thanks for your support.

Soooo as my second video will be slightly delayed I'll use the time to introduce you to my starting 11 and the formation that I use which has been very effective in previous seasons. I'm open to suggestions though and if you have a tactic you think will improve my performances then feel free to forward it either here or on one of my youtube videos...

I use an erratic 4-2-3-1 formation with odd tactical choices. You would think a direct style would fit this formation and my philosophy (counter attacking) more appropiately but I infact use shorter passing with a rigid set-up. I set my pressing to high to force my opponents into mistakes and my tempo to slow as I like to play football the right way and play through my opponents with multiple penetrating passes.

West Bromwich Albion used this formation at the start of 10/11 season to great effect and found their best form when they maintained this set-up. Next post I'll introduce you to each of my starting 11 (which I try to use whenever it is a possibility) and the roles which they play in this formation...

DEFENSE

(GK) Yann Sommer : Bought this keeper in my first month for £3,200,000 and it turned out to be a very good buy. Very young for a goalkeeper and I'm sure he'll continue improving but he's already a fantastic keeper for the price and is set to literally save me quite alot of points.

(LB) Peter Masilela : For £600,000 this player was a great buy indeed... South African left-back with great pace and decent defensive skills. Pretty good going forward too which I like in my fullbacks.

(CB) Jonas Olsson : My criteria for center-backs remains big and scary and Jonas Olsson fits that. He has high influence which makes him a great leader, as such he's my captain. Good overall stats for a team of my level.

(CB) Pablo : Tall, no-nonsense Spanish center-back. Partnered Puyol internationally so he's no nobody. Great in the air and good at dealing with set-pieces which is what I tend to struggle with on Football Manager.

(RB) Gonzalo Jara : Nippy Gonzalo is like an aggressive south-american Chihuahua but his bite is certainly worse than his bark. Decent right-back who puts in a few good performances but sometimes stupidly aggressive. Relatively young though with still a few years of moulding. Can play in midfield too which is always a nice alternative when injuries arrive.
