Note:The series of stories I am doing are not in chronological order- This one is before the Manchester United one. There won't be any major links but some minor ones. This is based on the 2011-2012 season, using LFC Marshall's 18.8.12 Summer transfers.

It has just been announced that Paul Groves has stepped down as manager. The new manager, it has been confirmed is Zak Thunder- a local manager who had-until know- managed smaller rivals Poole Town Fc. He hopes to take Bournemouth out of the League 1 and into greatness. Most Cherries fans we have instant hate for him- he is a Leeds fan, which because of the riots in the 1989-1990 season, won't make him the fan's first choice.

CHERRIES PUT UP A FIGHT

BOURNEMOUTH narrowly missed out on a draw against a full side Stoke team, losing 2-1. A goal was suspiciously disallowed- it wasn't offside and the ref said nothing about it. A penalty gave Stoke the lead, but the cherries fought back and equalised, but a winner in the 90th minute meant Stoke went back up north the happier of the 2 sides.
