Contraversy hits the Owls

Today we can reveal that Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws has been sacked today as he has been arrested for dangerous driving and driving under the influence. The manager left this statement "I am sorry for all the trouble i have caused to the club and to the supporters of Sheffield Wednesday, I accept that i have been sacked from the post of manager but hopefully i will return to management as soon as possible".

The Owls wasted no time in signing a new manager the inexperienced Shaun Hempsey has filled the post which Brian has left. This is what Hempsey had to say " I am truely delighted to be here, I have supported this club since i was a small child watching the matches on the terraces. I want to bring those glory days back of being a dominant Premiership team, I understand that that will take time but i am going to put all my time into this challange and look forward to making the fans dreams come true".

The Targets

  • Midtable finish/pushing for playoff place
  • Try to keep all talented players such as Tudgay, Spurr, Beevers and Grant
  • Try to add extra talent and also a backup keeper to challange Grant

Updates might be slow as i am revising for GCSES at this moment in time but will do my best :D
