Its been a year since a young talented manager was brought in to manage Valencia. During the first year, only 2.5 million was given for the transfer budget. Adrian had to made do with the budget, selling off Nacho Gonzalez for 2.2 M, in order to bring in Diego Godin from rivals Villareal for 4.4 M. There were many fans who doubted this move, but Adrian knew he had to get in serious defensive back up as Raul Alboi was just sold to R Madrid.
