british challenge!!!

i was thinking of starting a new game using an english prem team and selling all foreign players etc and only being able to play and buy english and scottish talents. anyone got any ideas o what team i should go? post ur comments and if this sounds tempting and you try it keep me up to date on ur progress via screenshots etc .

villa, good solid english players already and big enough to afford and attract the likes of fleck, sturridge, joe mattock, mark beevers etc.

yeh they would probably be the best team to go and u would make alot of money selling carew and laursen and petrov etc

could see crocuh going to villa if you neede a replacement targetman for carew. all depends on the way your gonna play i guess. when you say british, will you include irish players? aiden mcgeady from celtic will do well in the prem.

no prbs it took me a while to figuire it out

you couldnt go arsenal liverpool or chelsea etc cos u would have to get rid of basically all the team but on the bright side u would have alot of transfer money
 
well then youve got other options too, kevin doyle for example. i would load the irish league as there are a few good players, certainly capable of being squad players at villa. theres a good centre mid, looks like he could be the new roy keane, but hes like 23. cant remember his name or club though, so u will have to go through all the teams if u want him lol!!

obv young, barry, agbonlahor, curtis davies, zat knight etc are gonna be dead certs, what areas of the field need improvement>?

a huge squad upheavel like that would be nigh on impossible, mainly becasue u wouldnt be able to sell a whole squad quickly enough and an entirely new set of players woul take time to settle in and gel before they started playing well
 
villa wud be best agbonlahor, heskey, ashley young, luke young.
lots of english talent
 
probably upfront would need most improved but as u said kevin doyle is a top notch striker and is the irish midfielder ur talking about gary deegan. cos if it is then he is really good and only costs me £80k

spurs would be good aswell cos they have alot of british players with hutton woodgate king in defence lennon bentley etc in midfield and bent keane and defoe up front. they have livermore and bostock who are good young players aswell. so its probably beside villa and spurs. but ill probably go villa cos i like them

yeah i have done a villa one before, great fun. spurs on refelction ahve a lot of british players, jenas and huddlestone too!!

i would still go villa
 
yeh keane is a quality player but if i go villa i could sign kevin doyle.
 
ok im going to go villa . ill keep yous up-to-date and ill show some screenshots once the transfer windows shut etc.
 
sounds good mate. doyle has shown before he can cut it in the prem so should be now problems. get him some quality service from ashley young and he'll be fine
 
first game and ive done pretty bad. Euro Vase. heskey is out for 6 to 7 weeks
 
uve got the away goal though. i get the feeling bohemians wont play well away from home.

should be a straightforward win
 
right ive given up on this save. im going to try a peterborough one now. lol
 
i know but its pretty hard trying to get all british players cos u only get a 6mil budget and you only get offers of loans for the transfer listed players.
