The game's much more enjoyable set to only commentary. Get a split view of your ratings on the left, and match stats on the right.

The ME is just a large collection of animations, cobbled together into a database, utilised depending on your players stats. Once you think of it like that, you realise it's better to play the game not beholden to SI's clumsy animators.

Animators who are pressed for time continuously, and don't have the scope to perform as well as they'd wish to.
 
you also wont be able to see where your falling short (if you are) using only commentary. the ME isnt as bad as alot of people make it out to be, you would swear it was the end of the world lol
