Hello all, created a new tactic a few days ago, and at the moment things are going really well, conceding very few, and scoring enough lol, problem is that i ain't got time to test the tactic because of other reasons, but i would like to see it to it's full potential, so i'm asking you guys to test it and see what you think.
The tactic is a 41212 formation and i've only tested a little bit with barcelona, so i have no idea if it's good for poor or average clubs.
Screenie of the tactic below plus screen shots the fixtures, let me know how you get on.
Cheers and happy FMING

Why not show results of actual league games, instead of friendly games? You're in October..

its the same positions as I use now, so I'll see how your instructions work versus mine. As you can see I'm managing Crawley in League 2

I've used this formation with great success at Cruzeiro. The only difference is that I use wingbacks. I've won basically every trophy possible with Cruzeiro. The only major trophy I've lost out on was the Club World vs. Juventus. I outshot Juve, but lacked quality with my two top strikers injured.

I don't have a screenshot handy currently, but my starting formation is:

GK- Fabio
WBL- Joao Paulo
WBR- Diego Renan
DC- Thiago Heleno
DC- Manoel
DM- Anderson Uchoa
CML- Wagner/Zezinho
CMR- Henrique/Ilsinho
AMC- Bernardo/Wagner/Dudu
ST- Kleber
ST- Dentinho/Wanderley

I keep my DM strictly defensive so the fullbacks can both go forward at will. I tend to use one holding/supporting CM (Henrique) paired with a more offensive minded playmaker(Wagner/Ilsinho).

I give full creative license to the primary attacking trident. I set poacher and either advanced/deep lying forward for the strikers. The formation plays much wider than it looks on paper. I have virtually every attacking player, save the wingbacks, set to move into channels. I always set to play down the flanks to give it the needed width and keep the wingbacks involved. They are probably the two most important players in the formation along with the AMC. I've found a lot of success in instructing the AMC to hold up play so he can pick out runs/through balls more accurately. I was having several goals ruled out for offsides, but this tweak seems to have helped a little bit.

I just want to add that I am in year two with this Cruzeiro team and did not add Dentinho, Ilsinho or Joao Paulo until this second season. I won everything in year one with the players already in the team as I took over just before the start of the domestic campaign. I just won Libertadores for the second year in a row and won Recopa recently as well.

thanks for your reply kluivertsboots, glad the tactic is going good for you.
I originally thought the fullbacks were set on wingbacks, so does it work better when there attacking? i haven't had time to test the tactic properly, just got back from holiday
