Buying a player but sending him back to club on loan...

Been wanting to do this with some youth signings but the option is always greyed out when I'm negotiating a purchase price. Any idea how to enable this clause or what circumstances need to be in place for it to be active?

You can't send out youth players on loan.Not until they have signed a proffesional contract.At least I think that's how it works.

Even then it still doesn't let me do this. The players in question have been on pro contracts.

Pretty sure the player had to be okay with it. I've had a player straight up tell me he didn't want to go back on loan to his current side.

It could be also linked to his squad status and importance to the team you're buying from as well.. backup and listed player probabaly arent wanted back either.

When I bought Max Clayton I wanted to send him back to Crewe for the season but he refused to enter contract negotiations as he didn't want to go back. It usually works for me buying youth from Europe.
