Buying clubs

hi all, just a quick question.

Does anyone know if when you retire from football are you able to buy out clubs in fm2011? if someone knows could they please pm me as i dont check my threads much, thanks ^^)

No unfortunately, you cannot buy a club. Once you retire, you can either add a new manager and start over the same save as someone else or just start a new save entirely.

No sadly you can't. But I doubt you would ever earn enough to buy as a club seen as you will probably get bored after ten seasons :L

I managed to get £71m in FM2010, and that was only in about 12 seasons.

Would be a nice addition, buying a little club somewhere deep and bringing them to glory... then again, this is Football Manager, not Football Chairman.

It would be quite good as you would never get sacked and you would get bigger transfer budgets.

Alternatively you could use FMRTE to give them a job on the board etc
