Looking to sign a ball winning midfielder to play alongside Wilshere and Ramsey.

Are Lucas Romero's attributes good enough to be the main defensive midfielder alongside two relatively young midfielders or is it better to go with a more proven player in Lars Bender?

Looking at Romero's attributes he looks a similar player to Ramsey, more like a box to box midfielder than a ball winning midfielder.

Anyone had success using Romero in this role, if so did you train him in the defensive midfielder role or just focus on role i.e. bwm?

Thanks in advance...

Mohamed Diame is a good choice. If you have more money to spend, just go for one of Bender brothers (Lars is better imo, but they both are impressive) or Sandro.

yacob is the best ive seen on fm 14 and flamini is reallly good there trust me , if you want a younger player then leon goretzka is good

Get lars bender he was better than khedira and yaya toure for me, I have romero now he's back up and not as good as him.

Looking to take over Arsenal myself, I have an Everton save and Jacob plays for Arsenal in it, I was surprised they signed him, is he that good?

Yep, I was gonna reccomend him now but arsenal3642 beat me to it. Mulumbu also looks fantastic, although since Jacob is better on the ball I signed him in the end.
