Can connor wickham get good?

basically i just wanna know if anyone has managed to make connor wickham (from itfc), a premiership striker, as he sometimes gets touted as alan shearer, but i cant seem to make him good...screenshots would be good!

Well this is him at the age of 22,2015-16 season,playing for Wolves in the Premier League.He's in their reserves and has never played a game for them.They bought him off Ipswich Town for £1.1million after he made five appearances for them,never scoring a goal.Now he's transfer listed at £800,000.
