Hello there,

My laptops being gay saying plugged in not charging so today I called up DELL to get it sorted. They're going to replace the motherboard which means I'll lose everything on Football Manager, including my saves, tactic files, training schedules as well as face packs, skins and badges.

So what I'm asking is can I save this?

Thanks.

Get a flashdrive or an external hard drive and store in on there until you get your laptop back

Bring it to a computer specialist, they can copy your entire hard drive for you even if your pc isnt working.

backup the files located in "my documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2011"?

Replacing the motherboard wont make you lose your files, only if they reinstall the OS...

I think they might be doing that.

I'm not all that bothered right now as my 7 season save just corrupted and I can re-make my tactics.

Replacing motherboard will most probably need to reinstall your OS..

You sure it's not just a broken adapter? Because thats what I've got, probably should make sure its not that before forking out to get it repaired.
