Can someone add transparency to this?

I was wondering if anyone could take a minute to add a transparent background to this kit. I can resize and do the config no problem, but I have no idea how to make the white into transparency using GIMP.

I opened it in GIMP, and it was already transparent. :S

Indeed it is.

apparently I had a different picture of the same kit opened in gimp.

Thanks for pointing that out though, saved me the wait lol
