Instead of creating a new manager can you just carry on with that manager? is it possible? seems so unrealistic to make an un heard of manager and manage a team like Real Madrid.

no you can't, it is the one thing i have wanted to see on this game for a long time :p

Agreed. Seems they try and make the game as realistic as possible yet you can just take over a European powerhouse like Barcelona as a nobody.

Can you add a manager but not actually play as them (that isn't through editor) ????

Wanted it to happen aswell, I'm sure I tried to suggest it on the discussion of fm14 before it was released and it was ignored don't think many people cared about it but I think it should be an option like taking charge of Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho etc and adding or worsening their career.

holiday ?

instant result button ?

nah like already having myself as a manager but adding a manager to another team who is non-playable. Or add another playable manager but not having to play as him:)

What would be the point in that?

I want to add a club legend to a team who has retired fully from the game but not actually play as them. But want to continue my save, hence why I don't want to do it through the editor.

The answer is no. Unless you have FMRTE, or add him, and make him go on holiday.

You can play the game however you like. If you want to start as your local team then download the editor data that will allow you to do that.

If you want a truly realistic FM game you'd be unemployed for your entire career -.-

Not really. You could start from the bottom and make your way up the ladder it about getting the opportunity.
