Cannot Hold onto a Lead...?

Playing in my 2nd save as West Ham....playing my own tactic 4-1-4-1 ....and do not seem to be able to hold onto a lead.....now had 9 draws in a row, all games I have taken the lead and in most by more than one goal. latest 3-0 up at half time, end result 3-3.

Any ideas what I should look for in player attributes or tactic that could be causing this, as stamina for players look good and concentration.

Think I need to start a new tactic, copied this one over from FM14 were it worked well, now all of a sudden I am a draw specialist.

If you are winning after 70 minutes, change mentality to counter, get rid of risky team instructions such as Play out of Defence, Pass into space.

Switch to a narrower style, Retain possession, Short Passing, Close down more, Much lower tempo, more disciplined, deeper defensive line, use the team shout "Assertive; Tighten up".

After 80, I would switch to Contain, Play even Safer, waste time, etc...
