Can't change number of teams in competition

Hi all, i'm looking to edit a competition as i keep getting errors saying "the total number of teams entered for this competition (830) is different to the number of teams set in the competition (831)". However when i try to change this number it resets to 512 and won't let me go higher. I'm guessing there's a way around this since it managed to be set in the first place, so i was wondering if anyone could point me to it?

if you save the file as a .xml, open the xml in an xml editor or notepad works fine. Search (Ctrl+F) for "512" and change the value to 830. Save it an reload in the editor to verify

How to save as XML?

Hi lami, thanks for the reply! However i was just wondering if you could tell me how i go about saving my editor data as an xml then, as a quick google told me i'd have to deselect the "compress editor data files" option however they still save as .fmf files when i do so.
