Playing with Ajax, wanting to play like I think Ajax should:
The idea is relatively quick passing game, wingers and a "10" that can slot in his fair amount of goals.
I play as follows:
FB-> support (Vd Wiel)
CB-Ballplaying (Alderweireld)
CB-> defend (Vertonghen)
FB-> Support (Pamic)
CM-> Ballwinning/box-to-box (De Zeeuw)
CM->DL playmaker (Lodeiro)
AMR-> Winger Attack (Torje)
AMC-> Trequartista (Luiz Suarez)
AML-> Winger Attack (Emanuelson)
ST-> ADv Forward (Christian Benitez)
Tried playing short passing, but with Width quite some nothes up and tempo relatively high.
Problems:
Suarez isn;t scoring, despite retraining and my Assistant putting him on that spot aswell.
Wingers are;t often involved in the game (getting to passing down both flanks)-> Ball usually goes to Striker.
Conceding a bag full of goals, managed to be 32 games in and only get 64 points (miracle I am tied for 1st place)
I considered playing with a target man
OR
A DL forward, and set my DL a couple of notches less offensive then the Trequartista.
Alternatively, I guess I could work with inside forwards and have my AMC more of a playmaker role.
What I would like to know, if you have any ideas about:
Width, tempo, d-line and passing style, both for possession and decent defense?
How to get my wingers more involved?
How to get my striker/Trequartista set-up working?
Loads of questions, but some feedback would be appreciated

Should add: Really want my wingers set to Winger status and a trequartista, although I guess one to inside forward would work.
Despite all the negative, I managed to scrounge my way into the Cl final, tactic as I am playing seems to work better in Europe then inside Holland, with away results to Chelsea (0-1), Roma (0-4). Beyond that, I am usually getting outplayed away from home.
