Can't get past 5th game with Man City - HELP NEEDED!

Proper annoying. I've been told I need to register my players. So when doing so, I can't advance due to the fact it keeps saying I need to register at least 4 players trained by Man City between their 15th and 21st Birthday. I've tried adding youths, unpicking and allowing my assistant to pick the squad, I just can't seem to get past it which basically leaves the game unplayable now.
Does anyone know what's going on? or at least how to solve this problem.
