Can't get Skins to Work *HELP*

I've downloaded a couple of new skins to try out. For some reason when I go to the interface preferences in game the skins are not available for selection.

I've downloaded them into 'skins' folder in correct place.

Also I'm using a Mac

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
