Can't get Windowed mode to work.

Yes, before you have a go at me, I saw the How To guide to playing FM windowed but I don't have the properties tab thingy showed. I tried via preferences, and windoed is blacked out, it just won't let me choose it.

Help please.
 
is your screen resolution 1024 x 768? if yes then change it to a figure higher then that and you will be able to use windowed mode. select it from preference.
 
In game simply press alt+enter at the same time.
