Can't hold onto a lead

I'm playing as Man City and getting so fed up with it!

No matter how far ahead I am, and no matter who I am playing against, I can't defend for ****! And I'm constantly throwing away the lead, usually topped off by a 90th minute wonder goal by the opposition to equalise or ****** the win.

I've employed the best defence coaches, I focus all training on defending, and got an awesome back 4, but nothing is working!

Anyone else finding this?

Nope. I do comebacks, though. The key is: don't go all defending, exploit they'll want attack. Don't keep your ball played among defenders or defensive minded midfielders that can lose it near your area, keep your fullbacks back, send the ball to be played in the opposition's half.
