Cant loan offer?

I'm currently Mansfield Town in League 2 and I want to loan a player from championship but the make offer button is greyed out, I have no one on loan currently and i can pay his wages

You can only arrange loans during the transfer window... this might be the case.

could be your chairman not allowing you to do this, have you tried loaning some one in your own league or lower? if it still happens it's probably a bug of some kind.

Think ive figured it out, i cant make an offer to loan the player because the player doesnt want to play for my team haha gutted

Same Problem

Hey,

I am managing Salisbury in the Skrill Prem and have the same problem, however if I try to loan players from my Parent clud Reading it will let me!!! None of them want to come play in the Skrill so I cant loan anyone. I would like to loan players in L2 or 1 but cant as its greyed out! I am not aware of any restrictions put in place from the board so would like somone to clarify if this is a possible bug or not?

I think you're only able to make a loan offer for a player if the players club is willing to let him out on loan. For example, if he is on the loan list.

Hmmm, is that realistic? Probably not, I am sure teams still make offers for players on loan even if not on the market for loan!

I'm having this issue also. An AI club has made a loan offer for a player i am interested in also, yet i cant seem to make an offer as well. I have room for 3 more non eu players in my team and still allowed 1 more player on loan. The club that bid has drastically lower rep than me so cant see it being him being interested in joining them over myself.

Edit: tested on a player who wasnt interested in joining me and despite this, i did have the "loan offer" tab instead of just "transfer".

I've also seen another player i was interested get loaned out before i was even allowed to make a counter bid. Basically, i hit continue to go to a new day and the following day, 3 messages came up saying a club mad an offer, had the offer accepted, then the player agreeing to go on loan and i couldnt do a thing about it, yet prior to this, the AI team wouldnt allow him to go on loan.

Clearly must be some kind of bug.

Edit: Nvm, it counts as 5 loans per season in total, not 5 loan players at the club at any time. Still stranger on certain players i dont even have the "loan" tab and on some i do
