Can't make Germany national team available

Ive followed all the hints/tips on how to unlock the German national team BUT

> When i go C:\Users\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2012\db the file is empty!

or when i go C:\Program Files (x86)\Sports Interactive the file is empty too!!

Ive played 30 plus seasons on FM12 so theres nothing wrong with the game and I have not deleted anything from these files mentioned above.

Any ideas on whats happened or ways to fix problem and unlock the German national team??

It appears you're looking in the wrong folder:

Go to:

Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2012\data\db\1200\lnc\all

Here you will find 3 or more files:

• fake.lnc
• lic_dan_swe_fra.lnc
• nleague.lnc.

To unlock the German national team simply delete the fake.Inc file before you create a new game. The other files cause similar restrictions but apply to different competitions so you may as well delete all the files in this folder.

I use a friend's game data and i've allready deleted those files in previous saves. The files aren't there no more, but the problem still remains.

Is there any other location is custtom games to delete them. Are they hidden?

I've had the same problem. Followed the method posted and it's still not there.
