Cant reinstall FM2012

Hi guys, new to this site. I have just bought FM2012and installed it on my laptop, everything was fine and then I had to Factory reset my laptop. This of course took FM2012 off it. When I had reset my laptop I tried to reinstall the game only to be told when i typed in my activation code into Steam that it had already been activated and can't be used again. This leaves me with Steam installed but no game on my laptop......Heeeellllp.:'(
 
You just have to login to your steam account and download the game again/install it off the DVD. Once you use the activation code, it is forever tied to that account - so you only need to enter it once.
 
I tried to install it again off the disc but its asking me for the activation code to continue off the disc, then because its already been registered it stops the installation.
 
Seems to me I have a DVD fit for the bin, it wont install off the disc because the installation code is now invalid cos its been used before.
 
1 - Download Steam
2 - Log in to your account that you activated the game on first time
3 - Download the game
4 - Play
